SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a household appliance (1) with a drive motor (4) is designed as a brushless DC motor and intended to drive the component (2) with an inverter (5), designed to activate the drive motor (4). An inverter (5) comprises a block (7) of the engine control designed for frequency control (n) of rotation of the drive motor (4) and capable of operating in at least two modes (M1, M2) differing variable speed (n) of rotation, with intermediate electrical circuit (13) containing an electric battery (8) energy, providing the voltage (UV) power for the unit (7), motor control and unit (18) controls designed for battery connection (8) of the energy source (15 ) re-supply and disconnecting it from the same source (15) supplies. Block (7) of the engine control can recognize the battery disconnection (8) of the energy from the source (15) power supply and connecting the energy accumulator to the source (15) supplies, after detecting the connection to choose one of said at least two modes (M1, M2) operation depending on whether the connection was carried out for a predetermined interval (PZ) after disconnection time or after this interval (PZ) time.
EFFECT: increase of operation reliability.
