FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. Hydrogenation of anthraquinone is performed in the working solution, oxidation of the hydrogenated anthraquinone with oxygen to form hydrogen peroxide and its extraction are performed from the working solution. The apparatus includes modules mounted on the support unit. The modules include a hydrogenator (hydrogenation support unit); an apparatus for oxidizing the hydrogenated anthraquinone with oxygen to form hydrogen peroxide (oxidizing supporting unit); optionally a device for compressing air, and in case of a device for compressing air, a device for extracting solvent; means for extracting hydrogen peroxide from the working solution (extraction supporting unit); means for supply of hydrogen peroxide solution to the point of use and / or optionally to the storage tank, optionally with additional means for controlling the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogenation, oxidation and extraction support units along with any optional support unit are constructed as a modular reactor system, able to work as a small-mediumscale AO-method unit with output of hydrogen peroxide up to 20 kilotons per annum.
EFFECT: invention allows for effective industrial production of hydrogen peroxide in small-medium-sized production environments, with easy layout and/or replacement of individual pieces of equipment, easy operation and maintenance.
