FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: launch of the unmanned aerial multi-rotor type vehicle (UAV) is performed to the preselected point at the given geographical coordinates and at the desired height. The UAV is transformed to the coordinate holding mode, a uniform motion in vertical, and using the pre-measured empirical relationship, according to the slope of the UAV thrust vector, consumed by the power motors, the speed and direction of wind at the selected point in a vertical section are determined for the atmospheric pressure, the temperature and the air humidity.
EFFECT: expanding the functional capabilities.
