FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion and multilayer coatings prepared by coating compositions, and can be used, in particular, in automotive industry. Aqueous dispersion contains an aqueous medium and core-shell self-crosslinking particles dispersed in an aqueous medium. Core-shell particles include polymer core (1) at least partially encapsulated by polymer shell (2), having urethane bonds, keto- and/or aldo-functional groups and hydrazide functional groups. Besides, polymer core is covalently bonded with at least part of polymer shell.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of coating compositions which can be cured at relatively low temperatures to form coatings having different properties, and which also eliminate the need for a putty layer in the multilayer coatings, thereby reducing costs and improving the efficiency of the coating processes.
