SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the feed industry. The method for processing sunflower meal is carried out as follows. Preliminary grinding of the initial meal is carried out on a hammer crusher with a circumferential speed of 70.0 m/s. The crushed meal is sieved and three intermediate products of pre-grinding are obtained in the form of the first, second and third tail end products and one finished product in the form of protein flour passing through a 160 microns sieve. The first tail end product is crushed on roller machines with the arrangement of riffles of rollers for grinding sunflower meal back to back (b/b) with a rotation speed of a fast roller from 5.0 to 8.0 m/s, with a ratio of circumferential speeds of fast and slow-rotating rollers from 1.0 to 2.0, with a density of cutting rollers from 7 to 9 pieces per 1 cm, with a slope of riffles from 8 to 12%. The second and third tail end products of crushed fractions are sieved using sieves of various sizes and sent for enrichment to sieve systems, from which the finished product is selected at each stage in the form of vegetable high-protein grains of a certain size. From the first sieve system, large and medium grains with a particle size of 315-560 microns are obtained, from the second sieve system, medium and small grains with a particle size of 160-315 microns are obtained. The suction stock and sieve residue from the sieve machines are directed to the washing systems and protein flour is obtained from all systems through the passage.
EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the range of raw materials used in the feed industry with increased nutritional value, namely with a high protein content.
