FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, a green tire is introduced into the mould for vulcanization. The green tire is partially vulcanized so that a semi-vulcanized tire is manufactured. The semi-vulcanized tire is removed from the vulcanization mould. The vulcanization of the semi-vulcanized tire is completed outside the vulcanization mould. The vulcanization completion process comprises a stage in which at least one portion of the semi-vulcanized tire is brought to a temperature having a value between about 72% and about 120% of the temperature of at least a portion of the semi-vulcanized tire in the moment of its removal from the vulcanization mould in the time period between about 2 minutes and about 7 minutes from the moment in which the semi-vulcanized tire is removed from the mould.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties of the resulting articles.
