SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to the surdology-otorhinolaryngology. Monaurally simultaneously present a tone signal at a frequency of 1,000 Hz and as a disturbance – a tone signal at a frequency of 250 Hz with an intensity of +30 dB above the individual threshold of audibility. Results of the test are judged by the shift in the threshold of audibility of the useful signal, which is calculated as the difference between the threshold of audibility in the presence of interference and the threshold of hearing of the useful signal in silence.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of the study, which is achieved due to the ability to detect abnormalities in the central sections of the auditory system and to assess the noise immunity of the auditory system.
