SUBSTANCE: capsulorhexis tweezers device comprises a handle, a tweezers tip and a sleeve. The handle comprises the first shoulder element and the second shoulder element, an elongated body and a locking mechanism. The first shoulder element and the second shoulder element are connected at the first end of the handle. An elongated body extends between the first shoulder element and the second shoulder element. The locking mechanism is formed in an elongated housing, the locking mechanism comprises the first locking element and the second locking element. The first locking element and the second locking element are movable laterally with respect to each other and to the longitudinal axis of the locking mechanism. The tweezers tip is connected to the handle and includes two grips and a tip connector. The two grips extend from the distal end of the tweezers tip, and are offset laterally from each other to form an open configuration, and are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration in which the two grips contact with each other. The tip connector extends from the proximal end of the tweezers tip and is capable of mutual engagement with the locking mechanism. The tip connector in engagement with the locking mechanism is movable in the first axial direction relative to the locking mechanism, at that it is prevented from moving in the second axial direction relative to the locking mechanism, wherein the second axial direction is opposite to the first axial direction. The sleeve is connected to the shoulder elements and forms the central channel. The tweezers tip passes through the central channel, and the sleeve is movable relative to the tip, and grips can be activated between an open configuration and a closed configuration in response to shoulder elements displacement in lateral direction. Capsulorhexis tweezers contains a tweezers tip, two elastic grips, a tip connector and a locking mechanism. The tweezers tip has the first end and the second end. Two elastic grips are formed on the first end of the tip body and are movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the gripss are offset towards the open position. The tip connector is formed at the second end of the tweezers tip and comprises a plurality of teeth adapted to selectively interact with the handle. The locking mechanism is formed in the handle, the locking mechanism comprises the first locking element and the second locking element. The first locking element and the second locking element are movable laterally with respect to each other and to the longitudinal axis of the locking mechanism. The tip connector in engagement with the locking mechanism is movable in the first axial direction relative to the locking mechanism, at that it is prevented from moving in the second axial direction relative to the locking mechanism, wherein the second axial direction is opposite to the first axial direction.
