SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for emulsification of the lens in the eye using a portable modular system comprising a phacoemulsification unit removably connected to the pump unit, and for lens portions removal from the eye, using the suction pressure provided by the pump unit. The system and method may further include the possibility oft phacoemulsification unit detachment from the pump unit, irrigation and aspiration unit attachment to the pump unit to form a second portable system and material removal from the eye using the suction pressure provided by the pump unit.
EFFECT: possibility of reliable, rapid lens removal and capsular unit stabilization.
