FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: medical instrument system for preparation of a trapezoidal recess in the bone joint surface comprises a milling tool actuated to rotate about the tool axis, which has milling cutters acting in circumferential direction. The milling cutters act on the end located axially relative to the tool axis. The system also comprises a pattern portion installed at the joint surface to guide the milling tool, provided with a stop limiting the depth of milling tool penetration. The pattern portion includes a base element comprising a guide for the slide, and the slide moving in the guide between two end stops on the guide path, located in the guide plane. The slide has a guide channel for the milling tool directed transversely to the tool axis, so that the milling tool can freely rotate around the tool axis. The guide channel extends obliquely toward the guide plane and is inclined relative to the guide plane by an angle of 30° to 60°.
EFFECT: invention enables recesses of a predetermined shape and depth.
