DYNAMIC SCANNING METHOD FOR MULTIPARAMETRIC MAGNETIC-RESONANCE TOMOGRAPHY USING A PARAMAGNETIC CONTRAST AGENT FOR DETERMINING THE PARAMETERS OF BLOOD CIRCULATION IN UTERINE TISSUES AT MIOME AND ADENOMIOSIS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B5/55 A61K49/06

Abstract RU 2618923 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: dynamic scanning is performed with multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging using a paramagnetic contrast agent as a method for determining blood flow parameters in uterine tissue in uterine myomas and adenomyosis. In this case, the perfusion blood flow in the myometrium is determined, representing it by graphic dependencies and colour mapping, for which the MRI is performed on a tomograph with magnetic field induction 3T. As a contrast agent, a gadolinium paramagnetic contrast agent is used. Administration of the drug is carried out with an automatic injector at a rate of 4.5 ml/s to the elbow at the same time as the onset of dynamic scanning. The amount of contrast preparation administered is calculated from the ratio of 1 mmol per kg of body weight of the patient. After the introduction of the contrast drug, the kinetics of the contrast drug in the pathological and normal tissue is monitored and evaluated. The curves of the kinetics of the contrast preparation with subsequent colour mapping of the obtained data and the construction of colour perfusion cards are performed by the results of dynamic scanning using the TWIST pulse sequence, where the time of obtaining one series of images is 3 seconds, the number of series is 100, using the MeanCurve software of the SyngoVia workstation.

EFFECT: method provides an accurate assessment of tissue perfusion of the myometrium, which in the future will determine the tactics of patient management.
