METHOD OF 3D ULTRASONIC SCANNING OF A UTERUS FOR DIFFERENTIATION OF A SADDLE-SHAPED UTERINE SEPTUM AND DETERMINING VASCULAR BLOOD FLOW FOR SURGICAL MANAGEMENT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B8/00

Abstract RU 2707865 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to ultrasound uterine 3D scanning devices. A method for 3D ultrasonic scanning of the uterus for differentiating a saddle-shaped uterine septum and determining vascular blood flow for surgical management, consisting in that using GE Voluson E10 (USA) devices using the transabdominal and transvaginal sensors 3.5 and 9.0 MHz, performing 3D scanning first in the gray-scaled presentation, using VCI module of the volumetric visualization with contrasting, then using 3D scanning using HD-Flow technology and obtaining a clear drawing of vessels in both the gray-scale representation mode and in GlassBody 3D reconstruction mode of the image of vessels in the color Doppler mapping mode without the object being analyzed in the gray scale, followed by assessment of vascular architectonics of the zone of interest. Blood flow parameters are assessed by parameters VI – volume vascularization index, FI – volumetric flow index and VFI – integral perfusion index.

EFFECT: invention allows improving accuracy of differential diagnostics.
