FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: functional MRI is performed using paramagnetic contrast agent, determining the blood flow perfusion in case congenital uterine anomalies in the myometrium and near the intrauterine septum. The results are graphical dependencies and colour mapping. Moreover, MRI is performed on a tomograph with magnetic field induction of 3T. A paramagnetic gadolinium contrast agent is used as the contrast agent, its administration is carried out using an automated injector at a rate of 4.5 ml/sec into the cubital vein simultaneously with the start of dynamic scan. The amount of the injected contrast agent is calculated from the ratio of 0.2 ml or 1 mmol per kg of patient body weight. After contrast agent injection, its kinetics in normal and abnormal tissues is monitored and evaluated. Kinetics contrast agent curves are plotted, followed by the colour mapping of the obtained data and plotting of colour perfusion maps based on the dynamic scanning results. To do this, the TWIST pulse sequence is, time of obtaining a series of images is 3 seconds, number of runs is 100 software - MeanCurve of SyngoVia workstation.

EFFECT: method provides accurate assessment of blood flow in the myometrium at various congenital uterine anomalies, including that in the intra-partition, which allows to determine the future tactics of surgical treatment, and the prognosis of obstetric complications.
