FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: cable is made in three versions. In the first version, the wires of the uninsulated cable are made of aluminium. In the second version, the wires for the cable are made of an alloy based on aluminium. In the third version, the wires for the cable are made of a heat-resistant aluminium-based alloy. The non-insulated cable for each of the three versions is made with a linear contact of the wires with each other, with the same pitch of the layers in one direction, the outer surfaces of the wires are laid with gaps of 2-10% of the nominal diameter of the wires, plastically deformed with a reduction ratio of 10-14% of the cross-section area.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the breaking strength with respect to the uninsulated cables used, to increase the design cross-section, to reduce the electrical resistance of the uninsulated cable, to increase the cable-permitting operating temperature at the maximum values of the transmitted current, which will substantially increase the efficiency of the overhead line.
