SUBSTANCE: usage: for determination of structural damage accumulation areas in metal structures during operation. The sense of the invention lies in the fact that the loading of various sections of products by an indenter and recording of acoustic emission signals in the course of indention are performed, and according to the time interval between the start of indention and the start of recording of acoustic emission signals, the rate of structural damage accumulation of metal in these areas is estimated.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility of operation determination of the most hazardous areas of a structure.
