SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-tension machine devices control system, in particular to electric shunt reactors, as well as to the method of controlling high-tension machine devices being realized by this control. Technical character of an invention: a continuously adjustable inductor and a stepwise discrete adjustable container are provided on the secondary side of the testing transformer so that these components together with the controlled object formed as the inductance form a series resonant circuit. In the mathod a coarse adjustment control is made using the capacitor battery discretely adjustable containers. Moreover, using an iterative process, the individual battery capacities are connected if insufficient capacity is measured by the measuring device in the control system. Or separate containers are disabled when the excess capacity is measured by the measuring device the until a predetermined threshold value of the excess capacity becomes dominated. Further, by continuously adjustable inductance the control system fine tuning is carried out so that these components together with the controlled object formed as the inductance form a series resonant circuit with the possibility of alignment with its resonance point.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of reducing the test voltage supplied from the test transformer to the control object.
