FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: reinforcement made of an alloy having the shape memory effect is heated to a temperature above the reverse martensitic transformation end temperature - Ae. Thereinafter it is loaded by means of isothermal expansion and cooled under mechanical stress to a temperature below the direct martensitic transformation end - Me. Thereinafter it is unloaded and fixed in the rigid abutments with subsequent heating to a temperature above Ae complying with the concrete hardening process temperature, subjected to isothermal concrete hardening in a rigid mould during the time required for the concrete to achieve the transfer strength; after achieving the transfer strength by the concrete, the fixators on the abutments are removed, and the resulting product of the prestressed reinforced concrete is allowed to be cooled to the process (operational) temperature.
