FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method for biological materials preservation includes their immobilization on a dry carrier followed by drying. Large-pore chemically neutral hydrophilic material is used as a carrier for immobilization, the material is impregnated with a preservative solution containing 0.7 M sucrose, 1.5 M Tris-HCl pH 7.4 and 0.5 M ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid prior to biological material immobilization thereon.

EFFECT: increased safety of diagnostic and biologically significant properties of biological material for a long time and expanded range of preservation tools for biological materials, used later for laboratory analysis.
