SUBSTANCE: vortex-camera diesel engine comprises a cylinder, a piston and a cylinder head with inlet conduit and inlet valve. The cylinder head is placed vortex chamber connected to the inlet channel. The channel between the swirl chamber and the inlet valve is placed. Flap made of a material having shape memory. On the heated diesel, the flap valve is pressed against the surface of the channel and does not hinder the movement of fresh air from the inlet into the swirl chamber. On the cold diesel, the flap valve folded, closing the channel, and prevents the movement of fresh air from the inlet into the swirl chamber, preventing fresh air cooling the surface of the vortex chamber during starting and warming up the engine.

EFFECT: increase of reliability of the vortex-camera diesel engine start.
