FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to engine building, namely to glow plugs of vortex-chamber internal combustion engines. The expected result is achieved by the fact that a vortex-chamber diesel with an incandescent glow plug consists of a cylindrical metal housing, one end of the housing is connected to a pin heater that provides heating of the cylinder charge, the opposite end of the housing is connected to a spring washed by the coolant of the diesel cooling system and made with the possibility of changing its shape and length when heated and returning to its original shape when cooling down.
EFFECT: excluding overheating of the heater pin during engine operation.
