FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for explosion protection of process equipment in the event of an emergency (ES). The method of explosion protection with an initial emergency phase alarm system is that the lined cargo gate is movably connected to the valve body by at least three flexible connections, and a safety indicator in the form of a sensor responsive to impact deformation of the gate being opened is attached to the rupture element in the form of a pressure safety device. The sensor output is connected to a signal amplifier. The output of the signal amplifier is connected to the input of the personnel emergency alert device. A circular diaphragm with a central hole and with at least three holes located in its peripheral part is installed in the valve body, in its cylindrical part bordering with the conical part of the valve. In the center of the diaphragm, an additional safety indicator is attached. It is made in the form of a round strain gauge sensor, the lower part of which is supported by the central hole of the diaphragm. A rod is fixed with its lower part in the upper part of the lined cargo gate axially to the valve body. The upper part of the rod is placed in the central hole of the diaphragm. A sleeve of highly breakable material in the form of triplex glass is installed on the support rod coaxially to it between the bottom of the circular diaphragm and the top of the lined cargo gate. The strength of the sleeve is calculated for a specific excess pressure in the valve.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of process equipment protection from explosions in the ES by recording the moment of occurrence of the initial emergency phase with the means of the personnel alerting.
