SUBSTANCE: device includes a contactless sensor, such as a capacitive sensor mounted in the vehicle and providing the creation of the sensory activation field. The contactless switch further contains a control circuit, which allows the sensor field to recognize the switch activation by the user by comparing the value of the sensor activation field with the threshold value. In addition, the contactless switch includes an input device for receiving a signal input by the user on the sensitivity level selected by the user. The control circuit controls the sensitivity of the comparison on the basis of the signal input by the user on the selected sensitivity level.
