SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing the device for oral care is proposed, according to which: (a) the head and the first handle portion connected to the head is provided. Said first portion has the first surface; (b) the head is provided with at least one tooth-cleaning element; and (c) the second handle portion is attached to the first handle portion. The second portion has the second surface and comprises the unit containing the timer and the user notification device made with the possibility to issue a notification according to the timer state, so that the first portion is connected with the head at the distal handle end, the second portion forms the proximal handle end, and the first and the second surfaces together form the outer handle surface.
