FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for finely grinding fluids, in particular fluid materials containing particles in the liquid state, agglomerates or fibers, i.e. products that are substantially liquid and insoluble, but tend to form fractions that are solid or, in any case, have a different density. The homogenizing device (1) comprises an inlet (2) for receiving fluid under pressure, optionally also containing solid particles, a zone in which the fluid is homogenized, a fluid outlet (10) with a lower pressure relative to the inlet pressure In the homogenization zone, the fluid passes from a zone having a larger diameter (or volume) to a zone having a smaller diameter (or volume). The homogenization zone comprises an interaction element (9) common to the first stage (equipped with a first deflector plug (6)) and a second stage configured to create a counterpressure (equipped with a second deflector plug (12)). The deflector plugs (6, 12) are configured to work together with the cooperating element (9) common to them, providing an increase in the shear rate in the first stage.
EFFECT: fine grinding of particles to minimize their size and to obtain particles that are uniform in size.
