FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: crossroads with roadbeds (1), sidewalks (2) and road crossings (3) is made regulated by means of traffic lights (4). The sidewalks are separated from the roadbed with fences (5) in the form of decorative lattices having passages (6) for entering the crossing. A strong elastic band (7) inserted in a slit gap (8) of the electromagnetic coil (9) connected to the forbidding signal lamps of the traffic light, and equipped with a ferromagnetic strip (12) drawn into the coil, is placed in the fence at the entrance.
EFFECT: increased traffic safety.
