FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for corundum products manufacture for use in medicine, which involves preparation of raw material based on alumina ground in aqueous medium, the product is then formed by moulding, primary sintering and final sintering are performed. During raw material preparation from alumina, kaolin is first produced by purifying alumina by flotation and electromagnetic filtration, bringing the aluminium dioxide content in the raw material to 96%, moulding into the molds of the required implant, and then drying in molds for 6-8 hours at room temperature, sintering-carbonization is performed at a temperature of 750-850°C for 6 hours, after which further machining of the resulting product is performed taking into account the area of its further use, then final sintering of the product is performed at a temperature of 1700-1900°C for 10-12 hours.

EFFECT: method allows to obtain a strong and high-quality product from corundum in the form of a ready-made single crystal-implant without iron and other metal impurities.
