FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a proppant and application thereof in petroleum and gas production by means of hydraulic fracturing. The polyfraction proppant is produced in the form of granules with an apparent density of 1.6 to 3.0 g /cm3 and dimensions of no more than 2,000 microns from a charge including aluminosilicate raw materials pre-burnt at 1,000 to 1,400°C and a modifying additive - a mixture of vanadium-containing residue from combustion of mazut containing, wt.%: V2O5 – 2.5 to 22.5; Cao – 7.0 to 8.0; Al2O3 – 22.0 to 26.0; SiO2 – 41.0 to 46.0; MgO – 3.0 to 4.0; Fe2O3 – 4.0 to 5.5; C – 0.5 to 8.0, and a low-temperature modification of aluminium oxide – γ-Al2O3 produced by heat treatment at 530 to 670°C of aluminium hydroxide extracted by carbonation of aluminate solutions, at the ratio of the components of the charge, wt.%: alumosilicate raw materials – 50.0 to 95.0; modifying additive the rest. Prior to being mixed with the hydraulic fracturing fluid, the polyfraction proppant is separated inside of hoppers with a conical accumulator, wherein at the internal angle of the conical accumulator of no more than 45° the hopper is preliminarily subjected to vibration in a vertical plane so that the smallest granules are accumulated in the lower part of the hopper and the largest ones in the upper part, thereby ensuring unloading of the proppant when the granule sizes increase. At the internal angle of the conical accumulator of 60 to 150° the hopper is not subjected to vibration, and the proppant is unloaded when the granule size increases due to the fact that the central part of the hopper, wherein the small fraction of the granules is accumulated during loading, is initially unloaded, and then the peripheral part of the hopper with the large fraction is poured out.
EFFECT: production of a polyfraction proppant with a hardened crystalline structure of burnt granules, simplification of the technology for production thereof, and increase in the efficiency of application of the proppant in petroleum and gas production by means of hydraulic fracturing.
