SUBSTANCE: invention covers compositions of structural steels used for the manufacture of various machine parts, in shipbuilding, diesel locomotive manufacturing, automotive industry, tractor construction. The steel contains, wt %: carbon 0.13-0.18, silicon 0.17-0.37, manganese 0.8-2.0, chromium 1.1-1.65, vanadium 2.0-4.0, nickel 1.0-3.0, aluminium 0.05-0.1, calcium 0.05-0.09, molybdenum 3.5-4.5, copper 1.6-2.0, boron 0.01-0.02, iron is the rest.
EFFECT: increased steel structural strength.
