FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, can be used in automotive industry, agricultural, aviation, petrochemical and other industries, where it is necessary to perform rapid analysis of motor oil quality. Apparatus for analysis of contamination of engine oil of internal combustion engine with dispersed particles includes a cell with clean oil, measuring channel for analysis of unburned particles, situated at a height of a minimum level of oil in crankcase, and measurement channel for analysis of metal particles located at bottom of oil sump. Apparatus also includes a laser source of probing radiation, three inspection windows, three beam splitters (semi-transparent mirror), light trap, three lenses, a temperature sensor and three ultrasonic emitter channels for analysis of carbon monoxide, metal particles. Apparatus also includes a reference channel amplifier, four analogue-to-digital converters, a digital-analogue converter, a generator of ultrasonic oscillations, a switch, a computer. Apparatus also includes three CCD matrices and three DSP processors.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring parameters of carbon monoxide and metal particles, as well as high information content of data for evaluation of concentration, size and shape of suspended metal and carbon monoxide dispersed particles contained in oil, in particular invention enables to control quality of engine operation, remaining service life of oil before its replacement.
