FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing heavy feedstock by mixing the said feedstock with solid iron-containing waste of metalworking with particle sizes of not more than 100 mcm and asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits, waste of the oil production process, taken in an amount of 0.03-0.1% and 3.0-5.0% of the mass of heavy oil feedstock, activation of formed mixture by electromagnetic radiation with a frequency of 40-55 MHz, a power of 0.2-0.6 kW, at a temperature of 40°-70°C, for 1-8 hours, subsequent thermal cracking of activated mixture at a temperature of 370-420°C and separation of cracking products to obtain the desired cuts.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the quality of gasoline, diesel and gasoil cuts obtained, while maintaining the yield.
