FIELD: tool engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wet gas generator, which is a hollow metal cylinder with inlet and outlet nozzles for intaking and offtaking the analyzed gas. Inside the cylinder there is a hollow metal capsule with pneumatic resistances with calibrated holes at the ends of the cylinder. Inside the hollow capsule there is a moisture source, i.e. water. The capsule is fixed in the center of the metal cylinder using aligning gaskets made of fluoroplastic with transverse holes for the gas passage. All this is a simple design, small dimensions, easy to manufacture and simple to operate.
EFFECT: with the help of such a generator you can set the necessary moisture level to determine the component of the hygrometer error, and the change in the set moisture level can be controlled by changing the total gas flow through the hygrometer to be checked.
