FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: in a rotating sprayer for an electrostatic spraying device for the coating agent, the housing contains secondary holes located on the secondary circuit surrounding the axis of rotation. Each secondary hole is intended for discharging a secondary air jet in a secondary direction with a relative to the axis of rotation non-zero axial component and a radial centripetal component at which a secondary jet enters the outer surface of the spraying element. The primary and secondary circuits of the primary and secondary holes coincide with a circle centered on the axis of rotation. The primary direction forms an angle of 3 to 12° in the radial plane and with respect to the axis of rotation. In the method for spraying the coating material onto the surface of the object to be coated, the spraying edge diameter ranges from 50 to 100 mm. The round spray edge is located at an axial distance from the surface of the coated object, measured in parallel to the axis of rotation, less than 200 mm. During spraying, the coating material is exposed to secondary jets emerging from the secondary holes located on the secondary contour, coinciding with the circle centered on the axis of rotation. Each of the secondary jets is guided in a secondary direction with a relative to the axis of rotation non-zero axial component and a radial centripetal component. The jets fall on the outer surface of the spraying element. The primary direction forms an angle of 3 to 12° in the radial plane and with respect to the axis of rotation.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a stable stream of coating substance and rapid processing of relatively large surfaces at high speeds of the sprayer relative to these surfaces.
