FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: preparing the agglomerated batch components for sintering, forming, mixing and pelletizing the agglomerated batch, moistening of the mixed batch in pelleting to 6-10% with a pulp, laying it on the agglomeration machine, igniting and sintering the agglomerated batch and processing agglomerated sinter. The pulp has a temperature of 20-70°C and contains serpentinitomagnesite of a size not exceeding 0.1 mm with the following chemical composition, wt %: 30-47 MgO; 0-5 CaO; 28,0-40 SiO2; 0-4 Al2O3; 3,6-8 Fe2O3+FeO; 0-0,15 MnO; 0,2-0,5 Cr2O3; 0-0,3 NiO; 0-0,1 Na2O+K2O; 0-0,1 TiO2; 0-0,01 B2O3; 0-0,05S+P; 0-7,5 H2O (gig.); 2.6-21.0 of ignition loss. The content of serpentinitomagnesite in the agglomerated batch is 0.66-50 kg/t. The pulp and/or pulp water has undergone magnetic and/or ultrasonic treatment and/or electrochemical treatment and has a pH of 1÷5 or pH of 11÷13.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the strength of the agglomerate to impact, to reduce the strength of the agglomerate to abrasion, to increase the specific productivity of the agglomeration machine and the yield of the suitable agglomerate.
