FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat treatment methods of agglomeration of iron-ore concentrates in ferrous metallurgy. An iron-ore material agglomeration method involves preparation of charge components for sintering, composition of agglomeration charge, mixing and pelletisation of mixed charge, laying of a bed and charge onto an agglomeration machine, charge sintering and treatment of agglomeration sinter. Mixed charge is moistened at pelletisation up to 5.5-8.0% with the pulp containing 1.0 to 2.7% of iron-containing slurries from slurry reservoirs, which are formed during collection and deposition of service and aspiration dust emissions, with fraction size of 0 to 0.074 mm, and have the following chemical composition (wt %): Fe=55.6; SiO2=6.37; CaO=6.4; Al2O3=0.80; MgO=0.99; TiO2=0.05; FeO=15.2; Fe2O3=62.6; Na2O=0.16; K2O=0.12; MnO=0.17.
EFFECT: method allows increasing impact strength of agglomerate by 0,97% (GOST 15137-77), increasing specific productivity of an agglomeration machine by 0,459%, reducing capital costs and power consumption, which are related to preparation of slurries for their introduction to agglomeration charge, by 14%.
