FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal methods of iron ore and concentrate balling and can be used at agglomerating of ores in metallurgy. The invention involves preparation of charge components to sintering, formation of an agglomerating charge, mixing and pelletising of the charge, laying of a bed and the charge on an agglomerating machine, sintering of the charge and processing of the sintered cake. At pelletising, the mixed charge is moistened up to 7.0-8.0% by pulp containing from 1.0 to 6.8% dusty waste from processing of low-impurity limy dolomites with the fraction from 0.074 mm to 75 wt % with the following chemical composition, wt %: MgO=19.8; CaO=25.4; Fe2O3=8.4; SiO2=3.3; Al2O3=5.04; Na2O=0.06; K2O=0.2.
EFFECT: invention provides for the increase of agglomerating machine output by 6,5%, improvement of the agglomerate properties as per the shock impact by 0,3%, usage of dolomite waste and reduction of expenditures on power resources.
