FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recombinant DNA molecule, indicating the presence of transgenic events, where a representative sample of seed comprising said transgenic event is deposited as ATCC PTA-9670. A method for determination of DNA molecule presence from the said transgenic event in a sample is also disclosed, which is implemented using a DNA probe or a pair of DNA molecules, as well as a set to detect the above transgenic event. The invention also relates to a recombinant soybean plant, resistant to dicamba, its part, cell, and seed. Also a method for controlling weeds in a field comprising a plant crop is deisclosed, including the transgenic event, where a representative sample of seed cotaining the said transgenic event is deposited as ATCC PTA-9670, as well as a method for determination of zygosity of the soybean plant comprising the above event.

EFFECT: invention allows efficient production of soybean plants resistant to dicamba.
