SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for preparing beverages, at least from one ingredient, which comprises: the ingredient processing module; the ingredient channel designed to for charging the ingredient from the outside of said machine in the ingredient processing module; and the cover capable of moving between the position of the ingredient channel closure and the position of the ingredient channel opening. The cover can be moved along the parallels, in particular progressively and/or manually from the closed position to the open position and/or vice versa. The cover is combined with at least one opening for discharging the fluid medium through which low-temperature and/or high-temperature vapour can go out of the channel, when the cover is in the closed position.

EFFECT: since the cover is combined with the opening for discharging the fluid medium, low temperature or high-temperature vapour can be freely removed from the ingredient channel, not condensing in the channel and adjacent parts of the machine.
