FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to membrane piercing system (18) closing container cavity (14). This system comprises a piercing device (110) adapted to pierce membrane (18), and an ionizer for removing electrostatic charges which may be present in said cavity. According to the invention, the said ionizer comprises a piercing device (110) formed so as to have ionizing properties. The invention also provides a method of piercing at least one membrane (18) closing at least one container cavity (14) comprising membrane (18) piercing to open the said cavity (14) and removal of electrostatic charges, which may be present in said cavity (14). Membrane (18) piercing and the removal of electrostatic charges is performed by means of same piercing device (110) having ionizing properties.
