SUBSTANCE: method is based on measuring the orthogonal components of EX1, EY1, EZ1 and EX2, EY2, EZ2 vectors of electric field strength E1 and E2 accepted analogue in the general case of an elliptically polarised radio signal at time t1 and t2 using a tri-orthogonal antenna system, determining the orientation of the vectors E1 and E2 In space and the measurement of the azimuth value and θ elevation angleβ, determined by the orientation of the intersection line of the planes Ω1 and Ω2, passing through the center of the tri-orthogonal antenna system and to which the corresponding vectors E1 and E2.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of direction finding in conditions of a priori uncertainty regarding the polarisation and spatial parameters of radio signals, noise and interference, when restrictions are imposed on the overall dimensions of the direction-finding antenna system.
