FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: induction accelerator contains a vacuum chamber made as a section of an annular tube with a source of charged particles and a target placed in it, as well as a system that creates an alternating magnetic field and ensures the fulfillment of the betatron condition. The system is made in the form of conductive cylinders of a parabolic shape. Current-carrying cylinders can be multilayered - recruited from thin conductive tapes, separated from each other by layers of insulator.

EFFECT: increase in the energy of acceleration of charged particles with simultaneous increase in the technological design of the device structure by optimizing the system creating an alternating magnetic field.
