FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of obtaining of tris(2-carboxyethyl) phosphine chalcogenide octahedral cluster complexes of rhenium composition H16[{Re6Q8}(P(CH2CH2COO)3)6] (Q=S, Se). Then the reaction mixture is cooled, separating the crystalline product, the remainder of the reaction mixture is brought to a pH of 4-5 solution of potassium hydroxide and allocate the remainder of the target product. Also, the version of the method is proposed. Invention allows to obtain the water-soluble tris (2-carboxyethyl) phosphyne octahedral chalcogenide cluster complexes of rhenium with high yield and purity of the target product.

EFFECT: compounds are promising as radiopaque substances.
