SUBSTANCE: method of cell search includes the selection of a cell of the base station, reception of system data containing a physical cell identifier (PCI) list which is used by neighbouring cells from the Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) of the base system, definition of whether the terminal is in a condition for selection of any cell and when the terminal is in this condition, neighbouring cells are searched for without using the PCI list.
EFFECT: efficient terminal connection to a mobile network.
