FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication. When the mobile terminal is in the location which is reached by radio waves from multiple cells in various operating modes, the mobile terminal repeatedly performs search in multiple cells in the closed access mode (CSG cells) to which the mobile terminal can't get access, and performs selection of a cell for such CSG cell. The identification information of a cell belonging to the range other than the range of the identification information of the cell for the cell operating in closed access mode is appointed to a cell, operating in the hybrid access mode, and the cell operating in the hybrid access mode transmits a synchronization signal which is assigned with the synchronization code having "one - to - one" conformity with identification information of the cell. The mobile terminal establishes synchronization with the cell, operating in the hybrid access mode, by means of use of synchronization signals and finds identification information of the cell which the synchronization is established with.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in decrease of power consumption of the mobile terminal during repeated cell search.
