FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: determining the indices of their osmotic activity, take venous blood of the patient in tubes according to general rules, mix blood portions with laboratory solutions with known osmotic activity in a ratio of 1:1, use as a control 0.9% sodium chloride solution with known osmotic activity, incubation of the mixture for 5 minutes, a laboratory blood test and the delivery of the result. Preliminarily determine the solution of the prescribed drug with the highest osmotic activity index, prepare tubes with solutions of sodium chloride pH 7.35-7.40 with a growth rate of 100 mOsm/kg of water, starting from 500 mOsm/kg water to the osmotic activity index Drug solution with the highest osmotic activity. The intravascular temperature of the patient's blood is determined; the resulting solutions of sodium chloride are mixed with the patient's blood in test tubes and incubated, constantly mixing, at a temperature equal to the patient's blood value. Conducting a comparative morphological study of erythrocytes from test tubes and give an opinion about the high safety of the solution and the low risk of developing a pharmaceutical damage to the blood when it is used as injections and infusions when the number of morphologically altered forms of erythrocytes is exceeded by no more than 10% compared to the control. This value is given the conclusion about low solution safety and high probability of developing blood damage.
EFFECT: prevention of acute pharmaceutical damage to blood cells.
