SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cleansing composition for personal use which comprises of a) an effective quantity of skin cleansing surfactant and b) a halogenide-X-zinc complex present in the amount sufficient for providing at least 0.36% of zinc by the composition weight, wherein the halogenide-X-zinc complex has the formula ZnX₂Hal₂ or ZnX₃Hal₂, where Zn is a bivalent zinc ion, Hal is a chloride ion, X is an amino acid selected from lysine and arginine.

EFFECT: reduction of sun damage caused to the skin, destruction of the bacterium that cause a sweaty odor and decrease of sweating, reduction or prevention of sunburn.
