FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemistry of alkali metal tetrahydroborate complexes with organic compounds, namely to the method for producing complex solutions of copper acetylides of formula R-C≡C-Cu⋅3Z, where R = alkyl, aryl, Z = MBH4, where M=Li, Na, K, in a bipolar aprotic solvent (N,N-dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide) under ordinary conditions for 25-30 minutes. Herewith the solution is produced from copper acetylide of general formula R-C≡C-Cu and tetrahydroborate Z at a molar ratio of copper acetylides: Z=1:3. The produced solutions of copper acetylides can be used as hydrogenating, hydroborating and ethynylating agents, and also as reagents for dissolving copper acetylides.
