FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: in disclosed device for measuring wavefront of ophthalmic device and method implementing the disclosed device, alignment of ophthalmic lens wavefront system comprising a device for measuring the physical characteristics of the ophthalmic device is performed, optical measurement of optical mandrel and storage of this optical mandrel intensity measurement as an intensity reference file are performed. Then optical measurement of the optical mandrel with a lens which is formed on it and file saving of this intensity are performed, using the software in the processor capable of subtracting one intensity file from at least one other intensity file to obtain the value of lens optical wavefront in the real time mode.

EFFECT: increased speed of receiving accurate measurements of dry contact lenses by one-time optical measurements in real time mode.
