FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: catalytic reactor comprises a sealed enclosure in which layers of solid catalyst are enclosed, separated by an intermediate zone containing a collector plate interacting with a wetting chamber located beneath the collector tray and a wetting fluid injection conduit located in the collecting space located in the intermediate zone above the collector plate and at the periphery of the reactor. In this case, the delivery pipe is made in the form of a curved tube containing a single opening extending into the collector space, the opening being at the end of the tube. In this case, the end of the discharge nozzle comprises a tubular portion configured to pump the wetting fluid into the collection space in a substantially horizontal direction forming an angle of -10° up to +10° with respect to a direction tangential to the inner surface of the housing wall at the exit level of the tubular portion in order to obtain a rotational motion of the fluid on the collector tray.
EFFECT: improvement of mixing wetting fluid with hot fluids.
