FIELD: medicine; phthisiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat nicotine addiction in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Before the start of treatment, pulmonary tuberculosis is diagnosed and nicotine addiction is diagnosed according to the Fagerström test. If the score on the Fagerström test is 8 points or more points, a nicotine addiction treatment regimen is prescribed according to scheme 1, which includes three stages of 4 weeks each. At the first stage, a nicotine-containing transdermal patch with a nicotine content of 25 mg is fixed on the patient's body and a nicotine-containing chewing gum with a nicotine content of 2 mg is taken 6 times a day. At the second stage, a nicotine-containing transdermal patch with a nicotine content of 15 mg is fixed on the patient's body and a nicotine-containing chewing gum with a nicotine content of 2 mg is taken 6 times a day. At the third stage, a nicotine-containing transdermal patch with a nicotine content of 10 mg is fixed on the patient's body and a nicotine-containing chewing gum with a nicotine content of 2 mg is taken. If the score on the Fagerström test is less than 8 points, a nicotine addiction treatment regimen is prescribed according to scheme 2, which includes two stages of 6 weeks each. At the first stage, a nicotine-containing transdermal patch with a nicotine content of 15 mg is fixed on the patient's body and a nicotine-containing chewing gum with a nicotine content of 2 mg is taken 4 times a day. At the second stage, a nicotine-containing transdermal patch with a nicotine content of 10 mg is fixed on the patient's body, and a nicotine-containing chewing gum with a nicotine content of 2 mg is taken 4 times a day.
