SUBSTANCE: proposed the device and method for automatic matrices switching in the metre to determine the unknown material product concentration, which may represent the cleaning material or the material used. The present invention uses the measured linear density and the linear temperature of the material along with the reference temperature in order to calculate the reference density. The material concentration can be determined in percentage, using the reference temperature and the reference density.

EFFECT: accuracy and automaticity increase of the technological material and each material concentration change determination.
